This picture book has very detailed illustrations that help to show a story about how both kids and parents have "what if?" questions in their life. A little boy looks for his friend's party that he lost the invitation to. Along the way the little boy asks his mom a lot of questions about the party. Once he goes into the party his mom then worries if he will have fun. The book ends with the little boy having fun at the party and the mom being reassured.

Being a "worrier" myself, I think I need to read this book. What a great concept to help children through perfectly normal anxieties they may experience as children. Anthony Browne has a very distinctive illustrating style too. His illustrations always reflect in some way the mood or tone or complexity of the text.
