This beginning reader book has the characters Lolly, Spider, and Sam telling stories after a picnic on the beach. The book is separated in a chapter way by each person's story. All of their stories included a rat and a cat. Lolly's story was very short, Sam's story had a twist ending, and Spider's story was the scariest of them all.
